Wordset Vocabulary — made by Hunter Cole Finley — Effective September 7, 2026
Wordset is a vocabulary study app for Japanese and Swiss German. It runs entirely on your device. This page says plainly what that means for your data.
Nothing. Wordset has no account, no sign-in, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. The app does not connect to the internet at all: every word, every recording and every stroke-order diagram is bundled inside the app when you download it.
Because nothing leaves your phone, we cannot see your progress, recover it for you, or move it to another device. Deleting the app deletes your progress. An iCloud or iTunes device backup, if you use one, backs up the app's data along with the rest of your phone under Apple's terms, not ours.
None. Wordset uses no third-party SDKs that collect data. The pronunciation audio was generated before release and ships inside the app; no audio service is contacted while you use it.
Wordset is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
There is no personal data about you in our hands to access, correct, export or delete. Everything the app knows is on your device, under your control, and goes away when you delete the app.
If a future version of Wordset ever adds anything that leaves your phone (for example advertising or optional sync), this page will say so before that version ships, with the effective date updated above.
